 Recommendations

• Ensure proper threading and tight coupling to maintain electrical continuity and mechanical strength.
• Use anti-corrosive paint or additional coating for installations in highly corrosive or marine environments.
• Employ appropriate saddles and clamps at regular intervals to prevent sagging or vibration.
• Always de-burr and smooth conduit ends before pulling cables to avoid insulation damage.
• Perform continuity and earthing checks after installation as per local electrical codes.
• Use inspection bends or tees to facilitate easy cable pulling in long or complex runs.

Restrictions

• Not recommended for direct burial underground unless specifically coated for such use.
• Avoid using in chemical plants or acidic atmospheres without additional corrosion protection.
• Not suitable for areas where high flexibility is required — in such cases, use flexible metallic conduits.
• Do not use if zinc coating is damaged or rusted — replace to ensure electrical safety.
